This year, the Annecy Festival is putting "Animated Thrills and Chills" in the spotlight. 

The Festival is just around the corner and we bet you are eager to know more! To provide a little taster, we are revealing the creations that will shape the visual identity and set the tone for this 2026 edition! The official poster, designed by Randall Finnerty, a teaser of the Partners' trailer produced by the world-renowned animation studio Aardman, the brand-new trophy designed by Maison Daum, the opening credits by students from GOBELINS Paris and animated clips by AP3D students. The Annecy Festival and the Mifa recruit several hundred volunteers to complete our teams and greet the many badgeholders present. You can also take a look at the internships and job offers .

Join us from Monday 22 nd to Friday 26 th June 2026 in the various cinema theatres in and around Annecy to discover animation film in all its forms and for all ages, from primary to high school!

Among the films in competition, the juries have the sensitive mission of determining the Official Awards, including the Cristal for a Short Film and the Cristal for a Feature Film, and the Special Awards. Discover the jury members for the 2026 edition’s awards.

Each year, the Mifa Pitches aim to showcase the best original animation film projects in development. Organised in 4 categories – Feature Films , Short Films , TV Series & Specials and Immersive Experiences – the Pitches are becoming more elaborate every year. And for Mifa 2025, a new Mifa Pitch session dedicated to animated documentaries has been launched. For the 2025 edition, the Annecy International Animation Film Festival has received more than 4,000 films from a hundred countries.
