With the support of the Région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, the Département de la Haute-Savoie, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes DRAC, the CNC and Netflix, CITIA, organiser of the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, supports creation through a residency for animation feature film graphic development.
Whilst the 2026 winners of the Residency are due to arrive shortly in Annecy, the world capital of animation film, it is already time to apply for the 2027 Annecy Festival Residency.
The winning projects will be invited to Annecy from mid-March to mid-June 2027 to develop the graphic universe of their animation feature film. Hosted at the heart of the Cité internationale du cinéma d’animation, the selected artists will benefit from an ideal creative environment, a bespoke mentorship and support from the CITIA teams.
