Let's welcome the 2026 Annecy Festival Residency winners!
Three emerging talents, three feature film animation projects and three original worlds that will spring to life in Annecy during three months of creation, experimentation and interactions.
Armin Rangani and Raha Amirfazli (All the Heaven's Doors, Iran) have arrived in Annecy to develop their project's visual graphics aided by their mentor Isabel Herguera.
Matisse Gonzalez (Condenaditos, France/Germany) will continue to elaborate on the visual identity of his project with his mentor Aurel.
Last but not least, Gustavo Almenara (Todo viene del agua, France) will draw from his graphic mentor Amélie Harrault's extensive experience and insight.
Three projects, three writing styles, and three visual worlds to be explored.
These three months at the Annecy Festival Residency offers them valuable time to research, experiment and challenge their choices and further elaborate their film through various meetings and interactions.
They kicked off the first week by meeting their mentors for the first time. This is a thrilling creative adventure that we can't wait to follow.
