The Annecy International Animation Film Festival, which takes place from 8th to 14th June, has announced its competitive selections over the past few weeks: Short Films, Graduation Films, and followed by the TV and Commissioned Films the day before yesterday.In all, a grand total of 182 works in competition have been revealed, coming from 54 countries and 45% directed by women.

Every year, CITIA endeavors to make the Festival even more accessible. For the 2025 edition, the establishment is working hard on an inclusive approach for people with disabilities.
The Annecy Festival Residency will hold its 4th edition from 5th April to 28th June 2024 and host 3 new artists in the Papeteries – Image Factory to work on the visual identity of their animation feature films.
In June 2020 CITIA launched the arts residency "Graphic development for animation feature film" to assist creation. Discover the new winning writers and their projects selected to join the Annecy Festival Residency 2024.
