The Video Clip Geniuses

While music video clips display a myriad of creative techniques and experimentation, they are often overlooked in animated productions. This is why the Annecy Festival is dedicating its 2025 edition to the music video through a special theme, The Video Clip Geniuses.

The theme will be explored through 5 music video programmes interspersed or followed by discussions with certain creators and major studios who have contributed to the more recent history of animation film: Michel Gondry, Raman Djafari, Steve Cutts, Victor Haeglin, Jérôme Combe and Fortiche, and there will also be a Hungarian music video programme.
