Annecy announces the creation of an exclusive residency for female animation feature film directors.
Congratulations to The Most Precious of Cargoes by Michel Hazanavicius, which just won the André Martin Award for a Feature Film.
Our jury members will have the delicate task of choosing the best from the Official Selection in competition. Among them, Nadja ANDRASEV, Réka BUCSI and György RÁDULY will be our guests as part of the Tribute to Hungarian Animation, which will be in the spotlight for this 2025 edition.
The curtain rises on the 5th edition's mentorship: Alain Gagnol, Anita Doron, Aurélien Prédal, Jules Bonnassieux, Reza Riahi and Sébastien Tavel. Vitality and rigour are on the menu!
It looks like the 5th edition is going to be really promising with 3 new shortlisted projects!
With the support of the Région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, the Département de la Haute-Savoie, the Drac Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and the CNC, CITIA, organiser of the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, supports creation through a residency for animation feature film graphic development.
CITIA reveals the 6 pupils who will have the privilege and responsibility of awarding 2 short films at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival.
Additional new exclusive programmes join the Festival’s initial selection.
Annecy Festival has some exciting surprises in store for this year’s participants! While Marcel Jean, the Festival’s Artistic Director, had already announced a host of exceptional and exclusive content at the press conference in April, 2 new Screening Events and 2 Making of join the line-up.
A huge thank you to Céline Sciamma, Valérie Zenatti, Vanessa Chenaie, Kim Keukeleire, Patrice Suau and Graham Annable, the six mentors for the 2024 Annecy Festival Residency!
