The Annecy International Animation Film Festival, which takes place from 8th to 14th June, has announced its competitive selections over the past few weeks: Short Films, Graduation Films, and followed by the TV and Commissioned Films the day before yesterday.In all, a grand total of 182 works in competition have been revealed, coming from 54 countries and 45% directed by women.
The Annecy International Animation Film Festival is back on 21st to 27th June and the Mifa from 23rd to 26th June 2026, to celebrate the wealth and diversity of global animation in all its forms.
The Annecy Festival Residency will hold its 4th edition from 5th April to 28th June 2024 and host 3 new artists in the Papeteries – Image Factory to work on the visual identity of their animation feature films.
