11 years after Prologue, Lysistrata is Richard Williams' animated testament, marking the posthumous return of the animator's favourite animator to Annecy.
Three-time Academy Award winner, the legendary Richard Williams wrote, adapted and animated this short film, which is a sequel to Prologue and draws on Aristophanes' famous comedy. To bring an end to the war, Lysistrata and the women of Athens and Sparta take a radical decision.

Daffy Season, football meets the Looney Tunes
With the world’s attention turning to football in 2026, the animated short Daffy Season will make its world premiere at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival. The film finds Daffy Duck grappling with Elmer Fudd’s latest obsession—soccer—setting the stage for classic Looney Tunes chaos.
Marking a return to the big screen, Daffy Season is a brand-new theatrical short from Warner Bros. Pictures Animation, delivering the fast-paced comedy and irreverent spirit audiences expect from the iconic franchise as Daffy Duck heads toward his milestone 90th anniversary in 2027.

Several decades since its initial publication, the futuristic manga will demonstrate its enduring relevance once again through a new adaptation as an animated series.
