Video Game Cinematics and Trailers Competition 2025

The Mifa Video Game Cinematics and Trailers Competition, organised in collaboration with Weird Market (Spain), is an opportunity for independent studios and creators to showcase their artists' talent and illustrate the extraordinary union between the worlds of video games and animation.

The projects submitted for the competition's second edition in 2025 came from 21 countries across Asia, Europe, North America, South America and Oceania.

Jury

The 2025 Mifa Video Game Cinematic Works & Game Trailers Competition jury perfectly captured the spirit of the category: creative, cross-disciplinary and forward-thinking. Aneta Ozorek brought a sharp curatorial eye shaped by her work across European animation and XR festivals. Rodrigo Blaas offered a deep storytelling insight from years at the heart of major animation studios and original series creation. Tim Miller is known for pushing the boundaries of format and genre, with trailblazing work like Love, Death & Robots and Secret Level that redefined how animation and games can interconnect.
