At the beginning of the 20th century in Northern Italy, in Ughettera, the birthplace of the Ughetto family. Life in this region had become very tough and the Ughettos dream of starting over abroad. According to legend, Luigi Ughetto crosses the Alps and begins a new life in France, changing his beloved family’s fate forever. His grandson retells their story here.
