Midnight Shorts
For a long time, crime thrillers, horror films, fantasy films, and science fiction films were seen as a kind of B-movie, only meant for commercial exploitation and discredited artistically.
The Midnight Shorts competition section seeks to propel animation films associated with these genres into the limelight, to celebrate their audacity, diversity and filmmakers' virtuosity in exploiting the codes specific to each genre.
Publication of the selected films: 25th March 2026
Access conditions: open to all badgeholders by reservation, and single admission ticket sales to the general public
