Peleliu – Guernica of Paradise

Japan, 1944. 10,000 Japanese soldiers land on Peleliu. Tamaru is drafted into the army against his will, a fate shared by Yoshiki with whom he forms a friendship. Together they endure the horrors of war. Cut off in the middle of the Pacific as the global conflict draws to a close, the soldiers are left to fend for themselves.
