Suresh ERIYAT

Suresh ERIYAT

Suresh Eriyat is an artist, author, animator and filmmaker who has been a pioneering force in Indian animation for nearly three decades. A graduate of the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, he co-founded the Famous House of Animation before starting Studio Eeksaurus with Nilima Eriyat in 2009. His acclaimed films – Tokri, Fisherwoman and Tuk Tuk, Croak Show, Kandittund! (Seen It!) and Desi Oon – are part of a legacy of over 600 films that have won 200+ accolades, including two at Annecy and a three-time-winner at the National Film Awards. He has served on juries such as The Clios, TAAF, KROK, ADFEST, LIA, AICP Awards, ONE Screen and D&AD Awards, and continues to mentor emerging filmmakers.

 

Lola LEFÈVRE

Born in 1999, Lola Lefèvre is an animation film director. She graduated in 2021 from the Atelier Supérieur d’Animation, where she directed her graduation film Mom, What's Up with the Dog?, which won awards at Annecy, Animafest Zagreb, and Angers European First Film Festival. In 2023, she completed her studies at La Poudrière where she directed her graduation film La Meuf de Jay in partnership with CANAL+, which was selected for numerous festivals, including the OIAF in Ottawa. Following the 2024 Do Not Disturb residency, she launched her series Beasties with Silex Films, currently in development with France TV. The project received support from the CNC and won the TitraFilm prize at the Annecy Festival Mifa Pitches. It was presented at the Cartoon Forum in Toulouse. 
In 2025, her music video Naive New Beaters, Star Feminine Band "Ye Kou Si Kuo" won the Cristal for a Commissioned Film at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival. Her work is characterised by strong visual energy and expressive movement. Lola seeks to transmit raw and complex emotions, combining intimacy with surrealism, by using stark lines and shifting rhythms. 

 

Anna Ida OROSZ

Anna Ida Orosz is a film historian and animation curator based in Budapest, Hungary. She graduated from Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) in 2011 with a degree in film theory and film history. Since 2012, she has been working at the National Film Institute – Film Archive, where she is responsible for the research, preservation and public presentation of Hungary's animation heritage.

Her curatorial work focuses on introducing historical and contemporary Hungarian animation to international audiences through retrospective programmes, archival screenings and festival collaborations. Among her recent projects is the tribute programme dedicated to Hungarian animation presented at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival in 2025.

Orosz is also the co-founder of the Primanima World Festival of First Animations, Hungary's international animation festival devoted to emerging filmmakers, where she served as programme curator for eleven years. Between 2013 and 2025, she taught animation history at the animation department of Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design Budapest (MOME Anim).

She regularly works as a curator and jury member at international animation festivals and film events, including Animateka, Animator, DOK Leipzig, Fantoche, Fest Anča, and MONSTRA.
