When a group of farm animals rebel and kick their neglectful farmer off the land, life is good and the dream of a free, equitable future is within sight. But power struggles among some of literature’s most infamous characters ensue and the realities of living in a world designed for mankind complicates and corrupts the satirical and allegorical, Animal Farm. Based on George Orwell’s classic novella of the same name, Animal Farm stars Seth Rogen, Gaten Matarazzo, Laverne Cox, Iman Vellani, Kieran Culkin, Jim Parsons, Woody Harrelson, Steve Buscemi, Glenn Close, Andy Serkis and Kathleen Turner. Animal Farm is a feature length, animated family comedy, directed by Andy Serkis, written by Nick Stoller, and produced by Aniventure and Imaginarium with CG production by Cinesite.
