In 2025, between November and April, the Annecy International Animation Film Festival received over 4,000 films (shorts and feature films, TV and commissioned films, graduation films as well as immersive works) from across the world.

Announcement dates for the selections

- Graduation Films: 18th March 2026
- TV Films, Commissioned Films: 23rd March 2026
- Short Films: 25th March 2026
- Feature Films: end of April 2026
- Immersive Works: beginning of May 2026
- Awards: 27th June 2026
Selection Committees
Annecy International Animation Film Festival selection committees are composed of film professionals from diverse backgrounds and with wide-ranging experience, offering a treasure trove of valuable perspectives.
The selection committees are coordinated by Maud Ahmadnia, the Festival's Programme Planning Manager.
All final decisions are made by the Artistic Director, Marcel Jean, after consultation with the selection committees.
