With the broadcasting law laid out by ARCOM in December last year for American platforms, the possible merger between TF1 and M6, and the upcoming renegotiation of the interprofessional agreement with France Télévisions, the role and place of independent production are severely challenged, even though its influence like its artistic vibrancy and economics have never been so strong.
