Drawing Teenagers and Young Adults Back to the Cinema: Could Animation be the Driving Force Behind a New Generation of Moviegoers? Business

More often than not, the first film most spectators see at the cinema is an animation film.

As they grow up their interest in going to the cinema wanes: the evidence is in the numbers, the 15-25-year-olds are going to the cinema less and less. To curb this trend, teen/adult animation films could be the key to renewing audiences.

Operators, distributors and sociologists attempt to explain how to avoid this loss of interest by suggesting ways to inspire the younger generation to be passionate about the cinema again.

Conference organised in partnership with Futur@Cinéma.
