The famous Japanese creature is back in a trilogy halfway between a monster film and science-fiction film!

After featuring in Japanese cinemas, Godzilla is back, and in the form of a three-part animated series for the first time! Presented in a WIP Feature at the 2017 Festival, the first instalment - Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters - received praise upon its release that year. Directed by Hiroyuki Seshita and Kōbun Shizuno, the films were produced by Polygon Pictures, a 3DCG Japanese animation studio that has received four Emmy Awards.

During this event screening, you will discover not one, but two episodes of the trilogy!

In the first instalment about the scaled giant, a group of refugees tries to recolonise Earth 20,000 years after fleeing as a result of the terrifying Godzilla. However, they are very soon faced with a considerable problem: Godzilla is no longer alone and now lives with a whole host of new creatures!

The second chapter City on the Edge of Battle marks the return of Mechagodzilla, an old favourite of the Godzilla franchise, who will have to confront the 300 metre tall monster Godzilla Earth!

You will have understood by now that the well-known Godzill is here for the foreseeable future, and it is a pleasure to reveal these two episodes in animation!
