Life is peaceful in the land of Gandahar, they have never known the ravages of industrial civilization or harsh primitive living conditions. Nature, modified over thousands of years, has given birth to a harmonious world. But now the mirror birds, Queen Ambisextra's eyes, are reporting back from villages whose entire inhabitants have turned to stone.
