Ferdinand

  1. Overview
  2. Description

Discover the adventures of Ferdinand, the peaceful and big-hearted fighting bull.

Produced by Blue Sky, Ferdinand is an adaptation of the children's book The Story of Ferdinand by Munro Leaf. It was first brought to the big screen in 1938 by Walt Disney. The projection of this film by the Brazilian director Carlos Saldanha reflects the spotlight placed on Brazilian animation at the 2018 Festival.

The film tells the story of Ferdinand, a big-hearted bull who is a victim of his own imposing appearance. More inclined to appreciate the smell of flowers than flex his muscles, he ends up being inadvertently captured and taken away from his home village. Determined to find his family and go back to his roots, Ferdinand embarks on an incredible adventure across Spain, accompanied by a surprising team!

Allow yourself to be enchanted by this feel-good animated film with elements of bravery!
