As part of the cycle dedicated to French animation, Matilda Tavelli decided to compile a programme of shorts for children.

Matilda Tavelli discovered the animated short film format in Annecy in 1997, after which she developed such a deep passion for this genre that she decided to create a Swiss event dedicated to it 11 years later with Lani Wever Schaer: Animatou, the international animation film festival in Geneva.

In order to pay tribute to this film genre during the Annecy Festival, Matilda Tavelli is presenting her ten favourite animated shorts for children that were produced in France.

Ten tender and poetic stories that are a bit sad at times and that appeal to adults and kids alike thanks to some sweet and dreamy moments that will sweep you away.
