Before introducing the award winners, the new short by Richard Williams, a "Prologue" in every sense of the word!

Triple Oscar-winner Richard Williams, voted by his peers as "The Animators’ Animator" in the Observer, has won over 260 international awards including 3 British Academy Awards and an Emmy. Working on The Thief and the Cobbler was one of the best experiences of his professional career along with other films including Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988) and The Return of the Pink Panther (1975).
With his international masterclasses, his best-selling book The Animator’s Survival Kit, his 16 DVD box-set and iPad app, he has trained many of today’s top animators. Now after more than 60 years in the industry, Williams has entered new animation territory with his short film Prologue.
