The Annecy International Animation Film Festival will open its doors on 15th June. Six days of festivities with 215 films in the Official Selection, including plenty of buzz-worthy premieres.
Here are some of the happenings that you won't want to miss.

Monday 15th June, 8:30 pm: Opening Ceremony, screening of Kahlil Gibran's The Prophet with Producer Salma Hayek-Pinault and Director Roger Allers, Bonlieu Grande salle, by invitation

Disney Animation Studios and Pixar will unveil some of their latest productions
|
|
|
|
|
|
Director Peter Sohn will present some first footage of Disney•Pixar's upcoming feature The Good Dinosaur and Director Sanjay Patel and Producer Nicole Grindle will show the world premiere of their new Disney•Pixar short Sanjay’s Super Team, which will be presented before the feature film.
Tuesday 16th June, 10:30 am: Bonlieu Grande salle
Directors Byron Howard and Rich Moore will present never-before-seen extracts from Disney's new film Zootopia, and the Oscar-winning film crew from Frozen – Director Chris Buck as well as Producers Peter Del Vecho and Aimee Scribner – will present Frozen Fever.

And a screening of Inside Out!
Based in Headquarters, the control centre inside 11-year-old Riley's mind, five Emotions are hard at work, led by light-hearted optimist Joy. Fear heads up safety, Anger ensures all is fair, Disgust prevents Riley from getting poisoned – both physically and socially, and Sadness isn't exactly sure what her role is at all!

The Minions are landing in Annecy!
|
|
|
|
|
|
In order to celebrate the French premiere of The Minions in Annecy, the characters are coming to town on Thursday 18th June!
Meet up with Bob, Stuart and Kevin who will be landing on the Pâquier at 4:30 pm. They'll be giving out treats and taking photos with lucky festivalgoers!
At 7:20, they'll take off in a carriage from the Impérial Palace to stroll down the avenue d'Albigny on their way to Bonlieu.
